Job summary

AnaVation is seeking a Software Engineer-DevSecOps to support a cybersecurity program in our San Antonio, TX office. The role focuses on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerized apps, and IaC/CaC with security at the forefront to sustain IATT, ATO, and cATO readiness.

The position requires collaboration with ISSEs, developers, value stream engineers, and government stakeholders. Candidates should have DoD-style certifications and hands-on experience with GitLab/Jenkins, Terraform,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
Advanced degree in a related technical field.
DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a large enterprise with many applications.
Develop, test, and maintain containerized applications and IaC/CaC.
Automate security controls and evidence collection supporting RMF, ATO, and cATO.
Integrate and tune pipeline security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning).
Support vulnerability management, SIAs, SRCs, and compliance to maintain ATO.
