Job summary

Cooley AI seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to own platform infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security tooling. You will build automated systems with IaC, manage cloud security tooling, and ensure secure deployments across AWS.

The role requires hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Snyk, and Datadog, and collaboration with the Innovation team. The position emphasizes security-first development, observability, and cross-functional coordination, with a strong focus on production readiness

Qualifications

• 5+ years directly applicable experience in DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or software delivery automation.
• Hands-on responsibility for infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, cloud security tooling, and production deployment workflows.
• Strong Terraform skills across AWS and experience building CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions with security gates.
• Hands-on with Snyk integrated into developer workflows and CI.
• Datadog configuration including log management and SIEM features.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure, reusable infrastructure-as-code modules for cloud environments.
• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines including SAST/DAST and deployment workflows.
• Configure observability and monitoring across the stack, including Cloud SIEM and dashboards.
• Coordinate third-party penetration tests and develop threat models for new features.
