Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking a Senior Technology Development Operations Manager to lead a team responsible for designing, deploying, and documenting a secure CI/CD-enabled DevOps stack for our SaaS environment.

You will work closely with development and data teams, build green-field solutions, and enhance efficiency, security, and reliability across our infrastructure. The role requires strong leadership and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cloud infrastructure and DevOps experience with 2+ years in management.
• Proficiency in AWS or Azure architecture, configuration, and security.
• Skilled in CI/CD pipeline design using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong Terraform expertise, including Terragrunt workflows and tooling.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps tools (Flux, ArgoCD).
• Familiarity with microservices deployment and release automation.
• Hands-on with .NET Core containers on Linux and scripting in Linux/Windows.
• Knowledge of open-source and NoSQL databases (MS SQL, MongoDB, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
• Experience with APM tools (Datadog, New Relic) and IaC security tools (Snyk, tfsec).

Responsibilities

• Provide experienced leadership in scalable, secure hybrid cloud infrastructure patterns.
• Build, configure, administer, operate, and maintain DevOps environment components.
• Develop and maintain Terraform IaC module libraries and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead DevOps/DevSecOps practice maturity and governance through IaC.
• Collaborate with development/data teams to integrate products into a DevOps environment.
• Mentor team members and supervise direct reports.
