Job summary

Leidos is seeking a seasoned Digital Modernization DevSecOps leader to design and implement secure, automated DevSecOps platforms for US Coast Guard mission systems. You will drive CI/CD, IaC, GitOps, and security automation across AWS GovCloud and Kubernetes, while ensuring observability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years in IT with 5+ years in DevSecOps.
• Expert-level knowledge of GitLab CI and building complex pipelines.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Hands-on Terraform in AWS GovCloud environments.
• Hands-on GitOps using Argo CD and declarative configurations.
• Observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and a centralized logging stack (Loki/Vector/Fluentd) are required.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain Golden Path CI/CD templates and automate software supply chain.
• Develop modular Terraform code to provision AWS GovCloud and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Deploy and maintain core platform services (GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Vault) and manage GitLab Runner on Kubernetes.
• Automate security controls and compliance checks (NIST RMF, OPA, Kyverno).
• Implement and manage observability with logging, metrics, and dashboards.
