Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior DevSecOps CI/CD Engineer to support modernization of federal systems with secure cloud technologies, automation, and scalable software delivery. This on-site role is based in Huntsville, AL and requires a Top Secret clearance.

The engineer will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure CI/CD pipelines, IaC automation, and cloud-native deployment processes across AWS and hybrid environments to enable rapid, secure software delivery

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD, or secure software delivery.
Hands-on with GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines across AWS and hybrid environments.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
Embed security controls and compliance checks into the SDLC.
Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to improve reliability and efficiency.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance deployment pipelines and release readiness.
