Job summary

Maximus is seeking an IT Senior Architect - DevSecOps to lead the enterprise DevSecOps platform, guiding pipeline standards and secure software delivery across government programs.

This remote role requires deep architectural ownership, cross-functional influence, and experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Terraform. You will collaborate with ISO on security reviews and drive platform adoption across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years IT experience, with 5+ years in a senior DevSecOps or platform engineering role.
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain Public Trust or Secret clearance; active clearance preferred.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD design using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Define reference architectures and pipeline standards for the enterprise DevSecOps platform.
• Embed automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines and governance.
• Lead architecture decisions for multi-environment deployments across cloud targets (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Lead platform adoption and governance across the Tools Engineering practice.
