Job summary

Maximus seeks an IT Senior Architect - DevSecOps to lead the enterprise DevSecOps platform, shape CI/CD strategy, and drive secure software delivery across 1,000+ government programs. The role requires hands-on leadership and deep security tooling expertise across Jenkins Groovy pipelines, Terraform, and Crossplane.

The position is remote, with enterprise-scale responsibilities and interactions with VP-level peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 7+ years IT experience.
• 7+ years IT experience with 5+ years in a senior DevSecOps/platform engineering/architecture role.
• US Citizen; eligible for security clearance (public trust/clearance).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling: GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins; enterprise Jenkins Shared Libraries in Groovy.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevSecOps platform architecture for enterprise CI/CD; define standards and guardrails.
• Embed security controls into pipelines using SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, and artifact management.
• Collaborate with governance bodies and cross-functional teams to ensure enterprise- wide standards.
