Job summary

InterSystems is seeking a senior Platform Operations developer/architect to drive DevSecOps enhancements for our cloud-native database platform, including InterSystems IRIS and related technologies. You will design solutions with a small team, implement changes, and ensure operational security and quality across cloud and on-prem deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience hardening applications and backend systems.
• 7+ years of experience with Python, GoLang, Java or a similar programming language.
• College degree in engineering or computer science.
• Mastery of cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Helm and AWS.
• Familiarity with AI tooling to optimize development tasks.
• Experience deploying large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0/OIDC.
• Experience with ObjectScript and C/C++.
• Experience with Bash or similar shell.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions in collaboration with a small team according to product requirements.
• Implement product changes and automated tests when appropriate; ensure code quality.
• Follow the team’s development workflow with source control, code reviews, and documentation.
• Respond to technical questions about product behavior from support and sales engineers.
• Collaborate with DP Cloud Core and Kernel teams, DP Security Architecture Engineering, Managed Services, and HealthShare Operations.
• Work with C/C++, GoLang, YAML, Docker, Kubernetes, InterSystems IRIS on various platforms.
