IR Labs, the innovation unit inside Integrated Research, seeks a founding infrastructure engineer to build a scalable core platform and raise reliability standards across regions. You will shape secure IaC/GitOps patterns and automate delivery, collaborating with ML, data, backend, and security teams to power AI workloads.

Qualifications

• 8+ years operating high-availability, fault-tolerant distributed systems with IaC and GitOps.
• Strong coding in Go/Python/Rust and shell; extending Kubernetes via CRDs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the founding infrastructure engineer, building the core platform that scales the company and raises the reliability bar.
• Establish secure IaC/GitOps patterns (Terraform/CloudFormation) and automated delivery (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Co-design platforms with ML, backend, and security to power AI/ML workloads.
• Architect multi-region resilience—backup, DR, and failover.
• Advance observability and incident excellence; codify production engineering standards.
