Job summary

People In AI is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale the platform powering enterprise AI workloads. You will manage the cloud environment, drive reliability and security, and work closely with engineering leadership to shape the evolution of the infrastructure.

You will own Kubernetes clusters, enable cost-efficient scalability, and build repeatable, secure infrastructure for multi-tenant deployments while enhancing observability and incident response across AWS and GCP.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with AWS and familiarity with GCP.
• Knowledge of GitOps and modern CI/CD practices.
• An SRE mindset with experience improving monitoring and incident management.
• Experience with security, compliance, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to contribute to backend code.

Our client is building an AI platform that helps researchers and organizations make better decisions through large language models. They're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale the platform powering mission-critical AI workloads as the business expands its enterprise footprint.

The Role

This is an opportunity to become the first dedicated infrastructure hire at a fast-growing AI company. You'll own the cloud platform, improve reliability, security, and scalability, and build the infrastructure that supports high-volume AI systems serving enterprise customers. Working closely with engineering leadership, you'll have significant ownership over the platform and the freedom to shape how infrastructure evolves.
