Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III within the Branch Technologies Team to design and deliver trusted, scalable technology products in a secure environment. You will work on critical solutions across multiple areas to support the firm’s objectives.

You will utilize enterprise AI coding tools, contribute to architecture, ensure production stability, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and automated testing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of DevOps or production SRE tasks in cloud environments.
• Practical system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and evaluating outputs for correctness and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and security expectations.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Experience in a large corporate environment with modern languages and DB querying.
• Solid SDLC and agile knowledge including CI/CD and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions and design, develop, and troubleshoot with scalable approaches.
• Produce secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms.
• Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
• Gathers and analyzes data to visualize and improve software.
• Identify data patterns to drive coding hygiene and architecture improvements.
• Contribute to engineering communities of practice and emerging tech.
• Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve quality and speed, with peer review and security checks.
