Job summary

VIA is seeking a Senior DevOps Specialist to lead deployment, security, and reliability of Web3 data and identity protection solutions. You will own key infrastructure components and guide automation and IaC across teams to meet stringent security requirements.

You will collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering leadership to align priorities, automate remediation, and improve monitoring and CI/CD tooling in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 5+ years in a DevOps/SRE or infrastructure engineering role in high-growth environments.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, Unix/Linux, DNS, storage, firewalls, and data flows between systems.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform), Docker; monitoring via logs, Kibana, Grafana.
• Extensive AWS experience; Azure or GCP a bonus.
• Experience with security, compliance frameworks (CJIS, CMMC, SOC2).
• Python and shell scripting proficiency.
• Ability to prioritize across multiple development cycles and manage dependencies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Nice-to-have: blockchain node deployment, Istio, IoT OT experience.

Responsibilities

• Shape and operate infrastructure and deployment systems.
• Drive reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Champion security and compliance in automated pipelines and deployments.
• Partner with engineering leadership and product teams to prioritize and plan work.
• Identify and implement AI tools and agents to reduce manual bottlenecks across the DevOps lifecycle.
