Job summary

Xage Security, Inc. in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Senior DevOps & SaaS Operations Engineer to design, automate, and scale the cloud infrastructure and operational pipelines powering our hosted Zero Trust AI Gateway platform.

You will own deployments, tenant management, and monitoring, while planning the migration toward Kubernetes as scale demands it. The role combines VM-based and containerized architecture with edge considerations for enterprise SaaS customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Production SaaS DevOps/SRE/Cloud Operations experience.
• Deep IaC and cloud prowess with Terraform (or OpenTofu) and Packer.
• VM and container management (Azure/AWS/GCP) and Kubernetes migration planning.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain IaC for customer environments across cloud VMs and container runtimes.
• Architect safe upgrade and rollback pipelines for hosted control planes and edge gateways.
• Lead the future-state migration from VM/Docker to Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
• Design unified observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, and ClickHouse.
• Ensure 99.99% uptime with incident response, capacity planning, and DR planning.
• Implement secure VM/images, registries, secrets, and perimeter controls across cloud.
• Collaborate with security teams on SOC 2/ISO compliance and zero-trust.
