Qualifications

• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated deployments.
• Hands-on Terraform or similar IaC for multi-environment infrastructure.
• Experience with GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or equivalent.
• Strong cloud operations experience at scale (GCP preferred).
• Kubernetes production experience including cluster upgrades and autoscaling.
• Experience with Helm charts for templated deployments.
• Experience deploying relational, NoSQL, wide‑column databases and caches.
• Proven reliability work: SLIs/SLOs, incident response, post‑mortems.
• Security fundamentals for cloud infra, IAM, secrets, network policies.
• Bonus: Java release engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps portions of a global engineering platform used for millions of daily transactions.
• Improve source control, build, test, packaging, release, and deployment processes.
• Enhance infrastructure configuration, management, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and refine monitoring and observability across services for reliability.
• Collaborate with tech leads to improve architecture maintainability and resilience.
• Lead software and DevOps engineers on development and operations practices.
• Strengthen information security posture alongside other leaders.
• Contribute to team standards and operational processes.
