Job summary

JASINT Consulting and Technologies, LLC is seeking a hands-on Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS. The role emphasizes IaC, container orchestration, CI/CD automation, and security across the software lifecycle.

You will collaborate with software teams, cloud engineers, and security groups, mentor junior staff, and contribute to architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational playbooks.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in DevOps/DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on AWS design, deployment, and security.
• Experience with IaC using Terraform and/or OpenTofu.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Strong Kubernetes and Docker experience.
• Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Security integration into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
• Excellent collaboration and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or OpenTofu.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, security scans, and deployments.
• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop Helm charts and deployment configurations for Kubernetes environments.
• Integrate security practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, reliability, security, and efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior/mid engineers.
