Job summary

Jain Global, LLC in New York is seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Global Cloud and DevOps team. You will build and operate automation, platforms, and tooling for reliable and secure deployments across AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with global teams, contribute to cloud foundation initiatives, and drive observability, security, and performance improvements across shared platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or related role.
• Strong AWS experience with EC2, EKS, IAM, RDS, S3, CloudWatch.
• Proficient with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience.
• CI/CD pipelines experience, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Strong scripting in Python or Bash.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Solid cloud security understanding: IAM, encryption, network security, secrets.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate IaC modules and automation with Terraform.
• Develop self-service to provision AWS resources for engineers.
• Provision and operate AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, etc.).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Manage and improve Kubernetes platforms and GitOps workflows.
• Develop monitoring/logging using Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog, CloudWatch.
• Support cloud networking and hybrid connectivity across accounts/regions.
• Embed security, encryption, and governance into tooling.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and operational supportability.
• Collaborate with global teams (Singapore, London, New York).
