Job summary

Intellias is seeking an experienced DevOps leader to guide a System Engineering team and drive reliable delivery of cloud-based platforms. You will mentor engineers, hire and onboard talent, and align delivery plans with business goals.

You will oversee end-to-end delivery, optimize capacity, and remove blockers, while communicating effectively with architects, product teams, and executives. This role emphasizes delivery leadership over hands-on coding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, or IT Operations.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role (e.g., DevOps Team Lead, Engineering Manager, DevOps Manager, Delivery Manager).
• Proven experience managing a team of DevOps/Infrastructure engineers, including hiring, mentoring, performance reviews, and career development.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day leadership of the DevOps / System Engineering team, ensuring predictable delivery and operational stability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps Engineers, including hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Own end-to-end delivery for the DevOps team, ensuring timely execution, planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Manage workload, capacity, and delivery commitments while removing blockers.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Software Development, QA, Release Management, Security, and Project Management teams.
• Drive effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, managing dependencies, risks, and timelines.
• Monitor team performance, delivery KPIs, and SLAs, providing status updates to Head of Infrastructure.
• Continuously improve team processes and delivery efficiency by implementing best practices.
