Octus Intelligence, Inc. is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer in New York, NY. The successful candidate will oversee the development and maintenance of DevOps processes, leading a team of engineers while collaborating with application developers and data engineers to automate operations.

Key responsibilities include implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure. Candidates should have a strong background in cloud services and at least 7 years of experience in DevOps, with 2 years in leadership roles. The expected salary is between $160,000 and $215,000, including an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in a DevOps role, including 2 years in a leadership position.
• Thorough understanding of security principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development and SRE teams.

Skills

Cloud services expertise (EC2, S3, etc.)

Expert knowledge of Linux

Strong scripting skills

Database configuration and troubleshooting

Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)

Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
