Job summary

Devopsroles is seeking a hands-on Team Lead to own delivery, reliability, and day-to-day operations of our AWS cloud platform, managed as code across multiple accounts and regions. This role blends deep engineering with leadership to translate product needs into infrastructure requirements.

You will spend ~60% on engineering and ~40% on technical leadership, guiding the team, refining backlogs, and ensuring automation, security, cost efficiency, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Senior or technical lead with proven experience in complex cloud environments.
• Expert-level Terraform or equivalent IaC in large multi-account AWS setups.
• Deep AWS experience across compute, storage, networking, IAM, and security.
• Proven ownership of CI/CD pipelines with policy, validation, and security controls.
• Strong scripting ability and automation track record.
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and backlog ownership.
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience owning production operations including on-call and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, review, and operate IaC across a multi-account AWS environment.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes.
• Build and maintain core AWS services supporting products.
• Lead on-call incidents and post-incident follow-through.
• Guide backlog, planning, refinement, and sprint ceremonies.
• Partner with security for least privilege, encryption, and compliance.
• Drive cloud cost visibility and optimization across regions.
• Evolve platform for globally distributed workloads and AI capabilities.
