Job summary

Tria Federal is seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer with strong AWS, Terraform, Windows Server, and containerization experience to join a Kanban‑driven team supporting mission‑critical health IT solutions. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in DevOps, can lead a team of at least two, and has proven experience with ECS, Lambda, NiFi, and CI/CD for .NET and Node.js deployments.

This is a 100% remote role with occasional on‑site meetings in Woodlawn, MD.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server administration (2019/2022), IIS, AD and Group Policy management.
• CI/CD pipelines for .NET and Node.js apps deployed to AWS ECS and Lambda.
• Experience with AWS ECS (Fargate/EC2), load balancers, auto‑scaling, blue/green deployments.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Lambda (Node.js/Go), API Gateway, Step Functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a DevOps or platform engineering team with at least 2 direct reports.
• Manage work using Kanban, maintain boards, enforce WIP limits, track cycle time and throughput.
• Mentor engineers, establish standards, conduct code reviews, foster accountability and learning.
• Communicate with federal program stakeholders, uphold SLAs and balance hands‑on work with people management.
