Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join the AI/ML Data Platform team and shape the future of global commerce. You will drive reliability, scalability, and performance of the platforms powering data and AI innovation across Global Payments.

Your leadership will influence enterprise technology decisions, promote engineering excellence, and deliver secure, resilient solutions enabling fast business outcomes and exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications

Proven track record leading engineering initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with solid cloud architecture understanding.
Advanced IaC practices using Terraform, Ansible to improve scalability and consistency.
Strong proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for cloud-native environments.
Solid understanding of SDLC, DevOps methodologies, and CI/CD automation, with influence across teams.

Responsibilities

Shape the cloud platform strategy with scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure.
Automate delivery and implement Infrastructure as Code to improve deployment consistency and productivity.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to reduce time-to-market and boost release reliability.
Monitor and improve platform reliability, performance, and security across services.
Lead DevOps practices and collaborate across teams to drive engineering excellence.
