Job summary

GRVTY seeks a Sr. DevOps Engineer to deliver secure, scalable cloud and on‑prem infrastructure for a national security program. You’ll automate deployments, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure compliance for production systems supporting intelligence workloads.

The role requires US citizenship and active TS/SCI with CI polygraph eligibility, plus 8+ years in DevOps, container platforms, and automated tooling. This is a high-responsibility, mission‑critical environment with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of experience
• Experience with container images and platforms (Kubernetes/Docker/OpenShift)
• Strong understanding of DevOps and software development processes
• Knowledge of GitLab or other CI tools
• Understanding of microservice design and architectural patterns
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and shell scripting

Responsibilities

• Automate and optimize service deployments
• Integrate with enterprise authentication services
• Establish and improve system monitoring while maintaining security
• Architect, build and maintain On-Prem and cloud infrastructure
• Maintain and improve existing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Administer production, staging and development environments
• Manage and monitor logs and security incidents
• Monitor system performance and resource usage
• Apply configuration management to maintain software revisions and patches
• Enforce security and reliability best practices
• Maintain documentation of designs and configurations
