Job summary

System One is seeking a Sr.DevOps Engineer for trading and supply in Houston, offering a hybrid arrangement of onsite and remote work. The role focuses on stabilizing critical end-to-end workflows and supporting high-availability production systems in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will collaborate with front-office teams, engineers and vendors, own monitoring, incident response and on-call rotations, and apply expertise in FIX, market data and scripting to sustain reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years Front Office application support and vendor management.
• 8+ years commodity trading/capital markets/investment banking experience.
• Strong exchange traded derivatives lifecycle knowledge.
• 8+ years FIX engineering; exchange/vendor certification.
• Market data providers and EMS/OMS vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, TT, NYFIX and TradingScreen.
• Messaging/network protocols such as TCP and multicast; RTDS/kdb/shakti experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage end-to-end workflows and improve production stability.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, support and technical business users.
• Act as SME for trading system initiatives and support algorithmic trading technology.
• Participate in global on-call rotation and rapid incident response.
• Own monitoring, reliability improvements and production issue resolution.
