Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to provide technical leadership for DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native practices across multiple agile teams. You will work with architects, engineers, security, and operations to design scalable, automated delivery platforms.

The role blends strategic standards setting with hands-on problem solving, mentoring engineers in DevOps, and championing DevSecOps across the organization to improve platform reliability and developer experience.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on DevOps/Platform Engineering/Engineering Operations experience.
Experience designing and supporting DevOps architecture in enterprise-scale production environments.
Strong experience with Agile/Scrum, CI, and CD.
Hands-on in Linux and Windows deployments and troubleshooting.
Advanced automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
Proficiency with Ansible, Puppet or Chef for configuration management.
Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures.
Networking, load balancing, caching, service discovery, and DR/HA concepts.
Experience with AWS cloud services and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog).
Exposure to SRE practices and reliability metrics.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of automated CI/CD pipelines across teams.
Embed security and compliance controls into pipelines (DevSecOps).
Drive containerized, cloud-native architectures with Kubernetes-based platforms.
