Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native engineering across multiple agile teams. You will partner with architects, security, and infrastructure to design scalable, automated platforms that enable teams to ship software faster and more reliably.

This role blends strategic standards setting with hands-on problem solving, driving a DevOps and DevSecOps culture to improve developer experience and platform reliability across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on DevOps, platform engineering, or related roles.
• Enterprise-scale production experience with DevOps architecture.
• Strong Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and delivery practices.
• Linux and Windows environments; automation with PowerShell or Python.
• Expertise with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins.
• Docker and Kubernetes expertise; IaC with Terraform.
• Configuration management: Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Microservices, cloud-native design, networking, security, HA, DR.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural direction for DevOps and platform engineering.
• Lead automated CI/CD pipeline design and release management.
• Design IaC for provisioning and environment management.
• Embed DevSecOps controls in pipelines and ensure security best practices.
• Mentor engineers and promote automation, ownership, and quality.
