Ascensus is seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to provide technical leadership for DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native engineering across multiple agile teams. You will design scalable, secure delivery platforms, drive automation, and champion DevSecOps culture to improve reliability and developer experience.

The role requires senior technical leadership, collaboration with architects and security teams, and mentoring engineers on best practices.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Build & Release, or Engineering Operations.
Proven experience designing and supporting DevOps architecture in enterprise-scale production environments.
Strong experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and continuous delivery.
Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting applications in Linux and Windows environments.
Advanced automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Microservices and cloud-native architectures.
Networking, load balancing, caching, and service discovery.
High availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of automated CI/CD pipelines with build, test, release, and deployment workflows.
Embed security and compliance controls directly into pipelines (DevSecOps).
Drive adoption of containerized and cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes-based platforms.
Ensure platforms meet standards for scalability, resiliency, performance, and cost efficiency.
Guide teams on service networking, API management, load balancing, and traffic management.
Support high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
Provide Level-3 support for complex production incidents and reliability challenges.
Mentor engineers on DevOps practices, tools, and architectural decision-making.
Promote automation, ownership, and continuous improvement culture.
