Job summary

True Anomaly is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to evolve our spacecraft modeling and simulation software. You will own CI/CD, Kubernetes orchestration, and cloud infrastructure, primarily on Azure, with security and compliance at the core. Expect greenfield challenges and a direct impact on future space systems.

You’ll lead production-grade deployments, improve monitoring, and collaborate across teams to ensure mission success while enjoying competitive compensation and stock options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of DevOps and cloud experience.
• Experience with any flavor of Linux.
• Experiences with containers and container orchestration.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Experience setting up monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
• Production experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes (AKS) and Helm.
• Strong understanding of Terraform use cases and best practices.
• Experience with production-grade networking in hybrid clouds.
• Familiarity with TCP/HTTP(S) protocols.
• Experience with scripting (Bash, Python).
• Azure/AWS/GCP cloud certifications.
• Security and compliance in DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain CI/CD processes to streamline workflows.
• Oversee deployment, scaling and management of applications using Kubernetes.
• Design and manage Azure-focused cloud solutions and other cloud platforms.
• Utilize Terraform for provisioning and state management.
• Work with security teams to fortify infrastructure and ensure compliance.
• Implement and oversee monitoring and logging solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance for deployment pipelines.
• Deploy applications into challenging environments with customer coordination.
• Engage in design and debugging to solve real problems.
• Build and refine Docker images for production flight environments.
• Experiment with new dev tools to meet team needs.
