Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to advance our spacecraft modeling and simulation software. You will own CI/CD pipelines, deploy scalable Azure-based infrastructure, and collaborate with security teams to ensure mission-grade reliability.

You will manage Kubernetes deployments, build secure Docker images, and push for automation across hybrid cloud environments while reporting to engineering leadership. Onsite Denver is required with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of DevOps and cloud experience.
• Experience with any flavor of Linux.
• Experiences with containers and container orchestration.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience setting up and administrating monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.
• Production experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, specifically AKS and Helm.
• Strong understanding of terraform use cases and best practices.
• Experience setting up production grade networking with hybrid clouds.
• Intimate knowledge of protocols such as TCP, HTTP(S).
• Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, etc).
• Azure, AWS or GCP cloud certification.
• Security and compliance understanding in a DevOps context.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain CI/CD processes with modern toolchains.
• Oversee deployment, scaling and management of applications on Kubernetes.
• Design and manage Azure-based cloud solutions and related platforms.
• Utilize Terraform for provisioning and state management of resources.
• Collaborate with security teams to strengthen infrastructure security and compliance.
• Proactively monitor and optimize production environments.
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions.
• Support development teams with troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Deploy applications into challenging environments with customers.
• Engage in hands-on problem solving at design and debugging stages.
• Enhance and build Docker images for production flight environments.
