Job summary

Centex Technologies is seeking three Senior DevOps Engineers to support Air Force data initiatives. You will own infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and AWS deployments across multiple environments for a secure Data Mesh Environment.

Responsibilities include building Terraform modules, securing pipelines, and enhancing reliability and scale for mission-critical workloads. The role emphasizes DevSecOps, least-privilege IAM, and collaboration with Node.js/React and backend teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps or platform engineering with CI/CD and cloud infra ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve IaC, CI/CD, and cloud deployment patterns for DME/ACDC platform stacks.
• Design and maintain Terraform modules and AWS environment pipelines across multiple environments.
• Build and harden GitLab CI/CD workflows for plan/apply, image build/push, and environment promotions.
• Collaborate with application engineers to run services on AWS with ECS/EKS, including autoscaling and security.
• Improve platform reliability and cost efficiency through automation and guardrails.
• Embed security via least-privilege IAM, secure defaults, and GovCloud/elevated environments.
• Lead incident and change support for infrastructure and pipelines, diagnosing Terraform/state and AWS/runtime issues.
• Mentor developers on DevOps/DevSecOps practices and produce reusable IaC modules and runbooks.
• Review MR changes for infra/CI/deployments to ensure quality and readiness.
