Job summary

FTI is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Colorado Springs team to support DoD and IC missions. The role focuses on automating cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and security across environments, with strong Python/Ansible expertise and a must-have TS/SCI clearance.

You will work on a full software lifecycle, leveraging AWS GovCloud or similar, Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitLab to drive secure, scalable deployments. Expect onsite collaboration and a rigorous security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 6+ years of DevOps engineering experience
• Active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI) or eligibility
• Hands-on automation with Ansible
• Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration
• Experience with Git-based repos and GitLab preferred
• AWS/GovCloud experience helpful
• Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience
• DevSecOps, CI/CD, and monitoring tooling experience
• Scripting in Bash and Python

Responsibilities

• Automate and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Develop automation using Python and Ansible with networking know-how
• Oversee full lifecycle of software systems: development, testing, deployment
• Build automation solutions with Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat
• Improve security posture and GitLab reporting; reduce vulnerabilities
• Integrate with internal back-end infrastructure and CI/CD tooling
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures and performance issues
• Develop and deploy automation services for monitoring/observability (Kibana/Elastic/Splunk)
• Maintain container standards and enforce best practices
• Guide DevOps maturity and collaborative development workflows
