Job summary

Gabb Wireless is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to scale and operate our infrastructure. This hands-on role focuses on reliability, CI/CD, observability, incident response, and cost management, reporting to the Director of Platform and Infrastructure.

You will work closely with engineers to support growth and deliver scalable, secure systems. You will contribute to multi-region architectures on AWS, manage Kubernetes workloads, and advance IaC practices using Terraform and Helm.

Qualifications

4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
Experience building or maturing DevOps practices in production.
Experience operating and scaling systems to millions of users or connected devices.
Strong experience with AWS and production-scale cloud infrastructure.
Kubernetes and containerized workloads in production.
Proficiency in IaC (Terraform, Helm) and CI/CD design (GitOps preferred).
Strong observability skills: metrics, logging, tracing, alerting.

Responsibilities

Support reliability and uptime across development, staging, and production environments.
Design and implement scalable, multi-region AWS architectures with clear SLAs and capacity planning.
Build and maintain CI/CD systems and GitOps workflows for fast, reliable deployments.
Manage Kubernetes workloads and IaC tooling to reduce operational burden.
Contribute to incident response, post-incident reviews, and cost optimization.
