Job summary

Open-Xchange Inc. is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to automate cloud infrastructure and deployments in a Kubernetes-first environment. You will work across on-prem and hyperscalers, building Helm charts, operators, and storage/database optimization while participating in an on-call rotation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering teams, open-source mindset, and remote-first operations across multicultural teams. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• IaC and declarative tooling experience (Terraform, Helm, GitOps).
• Experience operating Kubernetes clusters and Helm charts; troubleshooting distributed systems.
• Strong English communication and collaboration, with Open Source mindset.

Responsibilities

• Automate provisioning of infrastructure, products and configuration (Terraform, Helm, GitOps).
• Run production environments on Kubernetes across on-prem and hyperscalers.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts and extend platform with Kubernetes operators.
• Manage storage and database infrastructure optimization.
• Join on-call rotation to handle incidents and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across the product lifecycle and share best practices.
