Job summary

VeliTech seeks a DevOps/SRE professional to maintain and improve production infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes environments. You will monitor, troubleshoot incidents, and automate operations using Terraform and Ansible while ensuring reliable CI/CD and observability.

The role emphasizes on-call rotations, cost optimization, and collaboration with development teams to boost reliability and scalability. Remote-friendly with international opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, Route53, EKS, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Kubernetes and ECS Fargate administration; Linux troubleshooting.
• Docker containerization and monitoring/observability tools.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Good networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancers).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; RCA proficiency.
• English level: Intermediate+ or higher.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production infrastructure.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and proactively identify issues before impact to customers.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform RCA, and implement preventive solutions.
• Automate tasks using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting.
• Manage AWS (ECS Fargate) and Kubernetes (EKS) clusters.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Improve observability with monitoring, logging, dashboards.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve reliability and scalability.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
• Optimize infrastructure costs, security, and operational efficiency.
