Job summary

Salve.Inno Consulting is seeking a Senior Cloud Reliability Engineer to own highly available, cloud-native production environments. You will operate AWS/Kubernetes systems, own on-call incident management, and drive permanent improvements with Terraform and GitOps.

The role emphasizes observability, automation, and security, with direct collaboration with enterprise customers. Fully remote, international contract potential, and a strong ownership mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Reliability, or platform engineering.
• Strong AWS expertise, design, troubleshooting, and improvement of production architectures.
• Experience operating Amazon EKS in production and on-call incident ownership.
• Proven ability to automate infrastructure with IaC (Terraform) and implement GitOps.
• Hands-on observability stack experience (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Excellent communication with engineering teams and enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability and health of production AWS/Kubernetes environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident ownership from detection to resolution.
• Lead root cause analysis and permanent remediation post incidents.
• Identify and fix architectural, reliability, security, and performance weaknesses.
• Design and maintain AWS infra and production Kubernetes/EKS clusters.
• Automate provisioning and workflows with Terraform and config management tools.
• Improve deployment and GitOps with Argo CD.
• Develop monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerts.
• Scale workloads with Kubernetes autoscaling (Karpenter/KEDA).
• Support distributed and event-driven environments (Kafka).
• Build automation tooling with Python/Go/Bash.
• Strengthen cloud security and disaster recovery practices.
• Engage enterprise customers for troubleshooting and architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with teams, championing practical improvements.
