Job summary

Certara is seeking a remote DevOps Engineer to help automate and scale our AWS infrastructure across multiple projects. You will design and implement deployment pipelines, monitor systems, and respond to incidents in a fast-growing software environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with distributed teams, mentoring peers, and delivering reliable, well-documented operations. Strong scripting, Linux expertise and cloud experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS-based infrastructure and services.
• Strong scripting and automation skills across languages.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot large-scale networks.

Responsibilities

• Write Terraform code to build, deploy and manage AWS infrastructure.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Plan, build and deploy monitoring dashboards (InfluxDB/Grafana/CloudWatch).
• Investigate and remediate production issues and respond to alerts.
• Maintain development infrastructure and testing environments.
• Document runbooks, change requests and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with remote teams and stakeholders via chat, email and video calls.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure knowledge transfer.
