Job summary

CLARA Analytics, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support Eastern Time Zone hours and collaborate with Data and Software Engineering teams. You will maintain automated infrastructure with Terraform and Helm, manage AWS Bedrock access, and ensure SOC 2 compliant operations.

You will optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, manage Kubernetes on EKS, and contribute to AI-assisted DevOps automation. A strong focus on safety, scale, and compliance guides every deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• Deep experience with AWS core services (IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, EKS/ECS).
• Strong knowledge of Terraform (modules, remote state, drift management).
• Kubernetes + Helm, and GitLab CI/CD or equivalent.
• Exposure to SOC 2 compliance controls and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated infrastructure workflows in Terraform (IAM, EKS, EMR, Lambda, S3, KMS, RDS, security groups).
• Own and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines with testing, security scans, and safe promotions.
• Manage Kubernetes on EKS via Helm and GitLab runners with KEDA.
• Support AI/agentic workloads and Bedrock AgentCore runtimes.
• Handle access management and changes under SOC 2 controls.
