Job summary

BIP US is seeking an Application DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale regulatory risk calculation and reporting platform in a global markets environment. The platform supports fixed income, currencies, commodities, and equities, providing end-of-day, intraday, and on-demand risk generation.

You will work with globally distributed developers, DevOps engineers, release management, infrastructure teams, and risk stakeholders.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience with Python and building automation.
Experience in agile engineering environments delivering production software.
Strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across technology and risk stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide DevOps leadership for large-scale risk calculation plants and infrastructure.
Support end-of-day, intraday, and on-demand risk generation with focus on stability.
Plan and execute application and infrastructure failovers.
Improve monitoring, alerting, and automation to reduce manual effort.
Manage capacity and performance for batch-oriented and on-demand workloads.
Collaborate with developers, release management, and infrastructure teams.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Contribute to software development, testing, deployment, and production support using agile practices.
Own operational outcomes as the regulatory risk capability expands globally.
