Job summary

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Platform Engineer to support a mission-critical market risk platform used for regulatory reporting, stress testing, and daily risk calculations. This role offers ownership of a complex system and close collaboration with Risk, Quant, Data, and Infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of platform or systems engineering experience.
• Experience supporting batch-oriented, compute-intensive production systems.
• Strong troubleshooting across application, system, and data layers.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and scripting (Python or Shell).
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Comfortable operating in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support and monitor the market risk platform.
• Maintain and configure platform components, including upgrades and patches.
• Lead incident response with root cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with Risk, Quant, Data, and Infra teams; document workflows and runbooks.
