We are seeking an Application DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale regulatory risk calculation and reporting platform within a global markets environment. The platform supports fixed income, currencies, commodities, and equities, providing critical end-of-day, intraday, and on-demand risk generation capabilities.
The role will focus on production stability, application resiliency, capacity management, failover readiness, tooling, automation, and regulatory compliance across a complex risk calculation plant.
The successful candidate will work closely with globally distributed developers, DevOps engineers, release management, infrastructure teams, and business-aligned risk stakeholders. The environment is primarily based on Quartz or a comparable enterprise trading and risk platform, with development largely in Python and selected C++ components for high-performance workloads.
This is a hands-on engineering and platform ownership role for someone who can solve non-trivial application, infrastructure, and batch-processing challenges while improving operational control and reducing manual effort.
