Job summary

BRINC is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own reliability, scalability, and deployment pipelines across worldwide real-time services. You will build secure cloud infrastructure and collaborate with software, hardware, and autonomy teams to improve performance and incident response.

The role requires a CS degree and 5+ years managing production systems, plus strong IaC, CI/CD, and AWS expertise to support drone-focused platforms at BRINC’s Seattle operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS or related field.
• 5+ years operating production systems and building infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern cloud patterns.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and safe release processes.
• Excellent attention to detail around security, scalability, and performance.
• AWS infrastructure familiarity (networking, IAM, core services, and production operations).

Responsibilities

• Own platform design, cloud services uptime, and on-call practices for worldwide real-time services.
• Build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment systems.
• Implement observability (metrics/logs/tracing), alerting, and incident response/postmortems.
• Drive capacity planning, disaster recovery, and cost/performance optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support live drone data streaming and customer workflows.
