Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for Professional Services in Atlanta. Hybrid role with in-office presence three days per week and flexibility for remote work (ET).

You will lead CI/CD design, implement DevOps platforms, and collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes. You will leverage Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services to build delivery pipelines, train users, and influence product direction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of DevOps and CI/CD experience with CI servers and tooling.
• Experience building delivery pipelines with Docker, npm, Java, PyPI.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure: storage, network, compute, security, cloud.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Senior DevOps Engineer – Professional Services

Location: Atlanta, GA | Hybrid remote – in the office 3 days per week | Also open to remote (ET)

Employees: 2,000+ | Industry: B2B Enterprise Software (SaaS), DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS) | Travel: 10% - 20%

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to design, set up, and build CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms using the company’s products and technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, IaC, and Cloud Native
• Team up with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Development, and work directly with developers and DevOps professionals to ensure customer success
• Set up, design, and build CI pipelines with Docker, NPM, Java, PyPI, etc. (binary repositories, distribution to devices, and continuous build tooling)
• Train open-source community members and customers on products
• Influence product features and roadmap based on customer needs
• Keep current with the latest DevOps and CI/CD technology trends
• Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and the community

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps and CI/CD: CI server, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, NPM, and binary repository management
• Ability to build software delivery pipelines with Docker, npm, Java, PyPI - using tools such as Git, binary repository management, binary scanning, and CI
• Good understanding of infrastructure and operations: storage, network, compute, security, and cloud (public and on-prem)
• Experience with continuous deployment and delivery tools: Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes
• Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Customer-facing experience, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Software architecture design and product development experience a plus
