Job summary

Ladders seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own cloud operations across AWS, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and secure delivery. You will partner closely with software engineers to streamline deployment workflows, strengthen observability, and reduce operational friction.

The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on DevOps experience and a practical approach to building scalable platform capabilities in a fast-moving technology environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering with strong AWS experience.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code, preferably with CloudFormation.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with observability tools, particularly Datadog.
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with containerized workloads using Docker and Amazon ECS.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language and comfortable using AI development tools.

This role will own and improve cloud operations across AWS environments, with a strong emphasis on automation, reliability, and secure delivery.

You will partner closely with software engineers to streamline deployment workflows, strengthen observability, and reduce operational friction.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 annually
