Job summary

VetRamp is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to sustain scalable production infrastructure for APIs, web apps, and ETL workflows in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with development teams to deliver production-ready services, automate release processes, and enforce security standards across the platform.

The role emphasizes cloud-native practices, continuous delivery, and proactive incident prevention within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a DevOps role focused on maintaining production infrastructure.
• Experience supporting highly available SaaS or cloud environments.
• Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3, Code/Build/Pipeline/Deploy.
• Strong familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and AWS tooling.
• Scripting in Python or Bash; Linux environment expertise.
• Solid understanding of system, networking concepts, and troubleshooting for bare metal and containerized workloads.
• Bonus: .NET apps on Windows servers and Active Directory experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps role focused on maintaining production infrastructure, with a preference for experience in supporting highly available environments for SaaS or cloud service providers.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, ECS or EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, S3, Code/Build/Pipeline/Deploy, etc.
• Strong familiarity with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, Ansible, AWS CLI/SDK, and Boto.
• Expertise in release automation, system administration, configuration, and system debugging.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and experience working in Linux environments.
• A deep understanding of system and networking concepts, along with troubleshooting skills for both bare metal and containerized workloads.
• Bonus points for experience with .NET applications deployed in Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments, as well as expertise in Microsoft Active Directory.
