Fundraise Up is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to own end-to-end platform areas—observability or CI/CD—across our global infrastructure. You’ll design, implement, and operate reliable systems, mentoring teammates and driving incidents to resolution.

You’ll work with Linux, Prometheus, Grafana, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and a modern stack to improve throughput, reliability, and developer experience while contributing to on-call rotations and architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a DevOps Engineer / SRE or similar responsibilities.
• Linux skills (Ubuntu)
• Working knowledge of the Prometheus stack and alerting.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience and pipeline design.
• Containers, Docker, image building, and registries.
• Ansible, Git, and Bash or Python scripting for automation.
• Production/on-call experience diagnosing incidents.
• Mentoring of junior engineers.
• Ownership and attention to detail in high‑downtime contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own one core platform area end-to-end (observability or CI/CD) and drive architecture, reliability, and roadmap.
• Drive technical initiatives from requirements to production and post‑mortem reviews.
• Define requirements and assumptions to bring clarity in ambiguous situations.
• Design for reliability and scale; evolve topology and integration points.
• Support developers on‑prem and Kubernetes (Helm); troubleshoot builds and deployments; assist with metrics, alerts, and logs; participate in chat duty.
• Automate repetitive toil and provisioning to codify operations.
• Investigate production incidents, lead post‑mortems, and improve systemic fixes; participate in on‑call rotations.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through design reviews and pairing.
• Utilize AI in day‑to‑day work for troubleshooting and development.
