Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer II to own the reliability and scaling of the NG-SIEM platform—the world's largest SIEM pipeline. You will build observability, automation, and cross-service tooling across ingest, search, and workflow execution.

This is a hybrid Austin, TX role with 2–3 days in the office weekly. You bring 10+ years in software/SRE, strong skills in Go, Java, Rust, Python, and Kafka, plus IaC/CD.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, site reliability engineering, or platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in at least one systems programming language (Go/Java/Rust/C++) and one scripting language (Python/Bash).
• Deep experience with end-to-end observability including SLIs/SLOs and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability and scaling of NG-SIEM pipeline across ingest, search, and workflow execution.
• Design and implement end-to-end observability and monitoring suites.
• Lead incident response during platform-wide incidents and coordinate cross-team actions.
• Plan capacity and cost, build tooling for automated remediation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive platform resilience and efficiency.
