Job summary

Akina, Inc. in Fort Meade, Maryland is seeking a Development Operations Engineer 2 to administer and enhance SIGINT production environments.

You will oversee Linux systems, network services, and containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker in a hybrid cloud setting. The role requires strong scripting with Python and Bash, IaC with Ansible or Terraform, and building pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab to keep high availability, security, and performance across front-end and back-end

Qualifications

• Recent Kubernetes experience within the last 3 years.
• Recent cluster orchestration experience within the last 3 years.
• Recent containerization experience within the last 3 years.
• Be available for 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SIGINT survey systems and software across prototypes and lab products.
• Design, deploy, test and maintain network devices and connectivity across LAN/CAN/WAN.
• Provide Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab.
• Use Ansible or Terraform for infrastructure as code and manage Kubernetes clusters.
