Job summary

Akina Inc. in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a DevOps engineer to design and operate a reliable platform orchestrating microservices with Kubernetes, Docker Compose, and Nifi. This role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph within 7 years.

Responsibilities include CI/CD pipelines with GitLab runners and Argo CD, and IaC with Python, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS. Collaboration, on-call readiness, and compliance are key in a fast-paced government-ready environment.

Qualifications

• Nine (9) years or more of professional experience; or seven (7) years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native tooling for orchestration and logging.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and provide performance tuning utilizing Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Nifi, and cloud native logging and metrics collection tools.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code utilizing GitLab runners and Argo CD.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
