Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the DOMEX Data Discovery Platform Modernization program in Bethesda, MD. You will design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack containerized microservices architecture and contribute to DevOps, systems administration, installation, configuration, and production support activities.

Responsibilities include deploying a production big data pipeline on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch and Kafka, enhancing CI/CD, and designing scalable

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification required.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to obtain Privileged User Account certification.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain production big data pipeline on Kubernetes.
• Enhance CI/CD scripts and processes for faster deployments.
• Design scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical/virtual environments.
• Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers on features and requirements.
• Participate in Agile release planning and related meetings.
