Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to administer Linux/Windows platforms, install, test, and integrate software, and support field deployments. You will lead software integration efforts, maintain documentation, and ensure scalable, secure system configurations across lab and field environments.

Qualified candidates have a BS in engineering or CS, 4+ years in deployments, Kubernetes experience, and IAT II CWIP/DoD 8570 compliance with Security+ and CCNA.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps.
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in Kubernetes.
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in cluster orchestration.
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years containerization.
• Be available for 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies.
• Willing to travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+) AND CCNA certification

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating system and software applications
• Maintain and develop the environment for hardware and software systems builds, staging, testing, and integration
• Perform system, sub-system, and equipment racking, stacking, testing, and software integration at field sites and local lab environments
• Prepare and update technical documentation for system and software installations, sustainment, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Provide Tier 3 support for system failures and degradation problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
• Provide technical support to software development and integration efforts in the lab and during field installations
• Create system-specific software baselines and related configuration files in preparation for new deployments or system upgrades
• Provide in-depth trouble‑shooting of IT systems
• Provide technical leadership to less experienced engineers
• Analyze and resolve complex system and integration problems
• Monitor and assess system performance and security, and assist in determining the system impact, cost, risk, and recommended architecture changes
• Serve as technical lead for software integration and testing
• Ensure quality assurance of software integration test processes and products
