Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a fully remote team focused on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, and developer enablement within a modern application engineering environment. You will bridge software engineering and infrastructure, shaping deployment strategies, containerization, and cloud adoption while delivering scalable, secure, and reliable applications.

Ideal candidates have hands-on DevOps/Platform experience with a software development

Qualifications

Professional software engineering experience with application development
Strong background with Node.js and JavaScript or similar technologies
Experience in DevOps, Cloud/Platform Engineering or related roles
Hands-on experience deploying applications into Kubernetes environments
Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and services
Strong Linux/Unix administration experience
Shell scripting and automation
Python or JavaScript scripting experience
Experience building & supporting CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices
Ability to collaborate across development and infrastructure teams
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Responsibilities

Hands-on DevOps and Platform Engineering responsibilities across cloud, containerization, and automation
Collaborate with software engineers to shape deployment strategies and enable rapid delivery
Support modernization of large-scale applications and microservices architectures
Contribute to operational best practices, monitoring, and reliability initiatives
